Rejuvenate Your Skin with Tixel and Calecim Stem Cell Mesotherapy Infusion

What is Tixel?

Tixel is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses controlled heat to rejuvenate the skin and improve overall skin tone and texture. The procedure involves a grid of tiny heated metal dots applied to the skin, promoting collagen production resulting in clearer, smoother and firmer skin.

Tixel can benefit individuals looking to address skin concerns such as laxity, fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, sun damage, skin texture and enlarged pores.

Tixel is safe to be used directly over the eyelids and the under eye area, right to the lash line.

Tixel has two main modes: Open Channels and Ablative.

Tixel OPEN CHANNELS with Mesotherapy is a superficial skin treatment creating micro-channels in the skin to allow better delivery of active ingredients. The channels remain open for 6 hours and requires application of specific cosmeceutical products post treatment for optimal results. Open channel mode has minimal downtime and no topical aesthetic is required. Mesotherapy is a cocktail of concentrated vitamins and minerals that are applied topically post treatment allowing for better product absorption, this treatment mode is perfect during the summer time due to the minimal downtime. There are many medical grade mesotherapy solutions that can be applied, we love Calecim Professional Serum which contains a powerful mix of proteins, stem cells, growth factors and cytokines which direct skin cells to behave in a youthful manner. The serum contains a high concentration of PTT-6®. This active ingredient can work on post-procedure skin by providing a nutrient-rich microenvironment to help boost the skin’s regenerative response. We use Professional Serum immediately post procedure in clinic to soothe and help skin recover from treatment. We recommend that patients continue use of Professional Serum at home for at least two days after, depending on the procedure.

Tixel ABLATIVE targets skin rejuvenation by inducing a controlled thermal injury to stimulate collagen production and improve skin texture. Ablative mode is a deeper treatment for concerns of skin laxity, deeper lines and wrinkles, and scarring. This treatment will involve several days of downtime and we may use topical aesthetic cream prior to your treatment for comfort. Calecim Professional Serum can also be applied following this treatment to enhance results and reduce downtime.

What should I expect during a Tixel treatment?

Our dermal therapist Madi will carry out a detailed consultation in order to make an assessment and ensure this treatment is right for you. Numbing cream may be applied to the treatment area. Once the skin is prepped and sterilised the Tixel hand piece is applied gently to the skin and the device is used in a stamping motion over the skin.

Most patients will be recommended a course of three to six treatments spaced four to six weeks apart for best results, depending on the concern.

The visible results from a Tixel treatment course can last up to several years. Tixel treatments can be done once or twice a year to maintain results.

Which treatment mode is right for me?
