Cheek Enhancement

A very subtle volume increase in the cheeks can help to slow down the aging process by replacing volume that is gradually being depleted with age. Cheek fillers are also a way to enhance the cheek area with an aim to beautify and glamorise the face.

ABOUT CHEEK ENHANCEMENT

Dermal fillers, otherwise known as cheek fillers, are injected into the mid-face to add contour, shape, volume and structure. Enhancing the mid-face is often the foundation of facial rejuvenation. Treatment of this region alone may enhance other areas of face, such as the nasolabial folds and tear troughs.

Volume in the cheek area does not need to be noticeable. A very subtle volume increase through cheek fillers can help to slow down the ageing process by replacing volume that is gradually depleted with age. Very subtle treatments like this are examples of how dermal filler in the cheek area can be used to slow down the signs of ageing in the lower face and around the mouth area.

+ How many treatments are required?

It is best to start with small volumes and increase with further volume until desired result is acheived. This minimises the chance of potenially overfilling. Treatments in the future are required to maintain results.

+ Are results immediate?

Results can be seen immediately, however some cheek fillers can take several weeks to allow hyaluronic acid particles to attract water and fully integrate with the tissue.

+ Is there any down time?

Bruising and swelling can occur. This may take 10 - 14 days to fully subside. Makeup should not be applied until the next day.
