PRE INJECTABLE CHECKLIST

Pre-Injectable Checklist | Erin Aesthetics

Can I Get Dermal Fillers Before I go overseas?

We require that all clients plan their Dermal Filler Treatment to allow a minimum of two weeks before any international travel for their safety.

Can I get filler while pregnant or breast feeding?

Injectable treatments are not suitable when pregnant or breast feeding.

I have an active cold sore, can I get my lip filler still?

Ensure no cold sores or infections are present on the day.

Can I get lip fillers after lip tattoo?

Yes you can. Please wait a minimum of 2 weeks either before or after your lip tattoo treatment.

I am prone to cold sores, can I still get lip filler?

Yes, you can still get injectables provided no active cold sores or infections are present on the day of treatment. Take antivirals the day of appointment if prone to cold sores.

How should I prepare for my injectables appointment?

To prepare for your injectables appointment, please remove makeup when possible.

How can I prepare for my injectables appointment in advance?

To prepare for your injectables appointment, avoid alcohol for 24 - 48 hours before treatment. Alcohol can make your blood thinner, which may increase your bleeding, bruising and swelling.

Can I have my injectable treatment after I've had a COVID-19 vaccination?

After receiving your COVID-19 vaccination, you will need to wait 2 weeks before being able to be treated for dermal fillers. You will also not be able to receive dermal fillers for two weeks prior to your COVID-19 vaccination appointment.

There is no required waiting period between receiving the COVID-19 vaccination and wrinkle relaxers.

Bruising and swelling is always a risk with any injectable treatment and can last 7-10 days. Please factor this in when booking.
