Role Overview

As a registered aesthetic nurse, you will provide medical aesthetic treatments tailored to each patients unique needs and goals in line with AHPRA codes and guidelines. You will educate patients on available options and maintain a high standard of patient care. You will work with honesty and integrity by only recommending treatments that are beneficial to the patient. The ideal candidate has an eye for detail, strong up-to-date technical skills, and a passion for helping patients look and feel their best.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation & Treatment Planning

Conduct in-depth consultations to assess patient needs, medical history, and aesthetic goals.
Provide expert advice on all injectable treatments available at the clinic. Have a good understanding of all dermal therapy treatments available at the clinic in order to recommend relevant skin treatments.
Develop customised treatment plans aligned with patient expectations and best practices.

Injectable Treatments & Procedures

Administer cosmetic injections as per protocol using the most up-to-date techniques; ensuring safety, optimal patient comfort and excellent results.
Have comprehensive anatomical knowledge of the areas treated.
Perform treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, fat dissolving injections, skin boosters, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) therapy, polynucleotides, bio-stimulators and bio-remodelling injections.
Knowledge of potential adverse events for each treatment performed and confidently equipped to deal with these should one arise.
Follow all treatment protocols, safety procedures, and infection control guidelines.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all interactions with patients, eg. In clinic appointments, phone calls, text messages, social media channels.

Client Care & Education

Educate patients on pre-treatment and post-treatment care to ensure the best outcomes.
Obtain informed consent informing patients on potential side effects and adverse events associated with each treatment.
Provide follow-up care and address any patient concerns or side effects post-procedure.
Build long-term relationships with patients through trust, professionalism, and outstanding service and care.

Compliance & Clinic Standards

Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes, pre and post treatment photos, consent forms, and progress tracking.
Stay up to date with industry regulations, emerging trends, and techniques by engaging in regular training sessions, attending conferences, reviewing publications and webinars.
Never preform any treatments you have not been adequately trained in or not confident in handling a potential adverse event associated with the treatment.
Ensure all treatments comply with health and safety regulations.

Collaboration & Business Growth

Work closely with the clinic team to promote services and enhance the patient experience.
Assist with social media content creation, before-and-after photos (where applicable), and educational content when needed.
Contribute to clinic growth by recommending additional treatments and cross-selling services where appropriate.

Qualifications & Requirements

Registered Nurse (RN), current AHPRA registration.
Experience in administering cosmetic injectables. Minimum 2 years.
Strong knowledge of facial anatomy, ageing processes, aesthetic treatments, current up to date techniques.
Excellent communication and consultation skills.
Attention to detail, artistic eye, and ability to deliver natural-looking results.
Commitment to ongoing education and training.
