+ Who is it suitable for?
BYRYZN Opuluxe V is suitable for most adults wanting to support their skin's hydration, texture and overall vitality, particularly those looking to maintain skin quality as part of a considered, long-term approach to skin health.
+ Who cannot have BYRYZN Opuluxe V?
- Pregnant or breastfeeding clients
- Active skin infections
- Active severe acne
- Any patient who has used oral isotretinon (Roaccutane) within 3-6 months prior to treatment
- Any patient with burned, blistered, irritated or sensitive skin in the areas being treated
- Aesthetic medical treatments in the last 2 weeks
- Any allergies should be discussed with your practitioner to ensure a safe treatment is recommended
+ What does it feel like?
The sensation depends on the delivery method chosen, as BYRYZN Opuluxe V can be delivered via skin needling, Tixel or Exion. Many of our patients pair it with skin needling and describe the experience as pretty mild, with a light scratching or prickling sensation during treatment. Afterwards, skin may feel warm and appear flushed, similar to mild sunburn, for a few hours.
+ How many treatments are required?
Again, this depends on the delivery method chosen. As a general guide, we recommend a course of treatments, applied every 4 weeks across a structured 8-week program, to support optimal results. Your practitioner will confirm the right protocol for you based on the delivery method and your skin goals.
+ How long do results last for?
Results build progressively with hydration and radiance often visible soon after treatment, with skin quality benefits supported over the course of the program.
+ Is there any downtime?
Downtime is dependent on the modality used to deliver the Byryzn solution. Downtime with skin needling is usually minimal, patients can experience some short-term redness and warmth, with skin settling within a few hours to a day.
+ What should I do before my appointment?
- Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E, alcohol) for 24-48 hours prior, unless prescribed by your doctor
- Pause active skincare such as retinol, AHAs, BHAs and vitamin C serums for at least 2 days prior
- Avoid sun exposure in the days leading up to your appointment

- Avoid makeup until the following day
